This Fall, help us celebrate Denton as a home to creativity and innovation, when we hold the first ever Denton Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in the Denton Civic Center from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. This family friendly festival is a place to tinker, design, hack, build, reuse, play, think, learn, share ideas and be inspired by science, technology, engineering, arts, food, music and crafts.
If you have something you love to create, then we want you consider sharing it at the Mini Maker Faire. Do you have a skill, a passion, an obsession? Perhaps it is your vocation, or perhaps it is something you do on the side. Ideally we would like to have makers from diverse backgrounds including art, craft, science, music, robotics, circuits, laser cutting, leather working, metal working, wood working, print making, farming, cooking and so much more!
Please consider applying to participate in some way. We need lots of makers who are willing to have a booth to share what they do, and give others a chance to participate. We also welcome makers who want to sell their creations, or businesses who serve the maker community. And we looking for speakers, demonstrators, sponsors and volunteers. If you know people who might think this is an amazing opportunity, then help us spread the word!
